The aim is to bring neighbours together to create strong, friendly, active communities where crime, baboons and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen.

Our vision is that of a caring society that is focused on trust and respect in which people are safe from crime and enjoy a good quality of life. Voëlklip Neighbourhood Watch is about making sure that no one has to feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live.

Voëlklip Neighbourhood Watch is about making sure that no one has to feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live.

We achieve our objectives through the following four mechanisms:

Community neighbourhood patrols/walks

Continual development of our existing 2-way radio network

– this ensures direct communication between the community, SAPS, armed response companies etc.

A system of logging suspicious activity

(cars and people)

Collecting information on criminal activity that enables analysis

As a result we can ensure targeted action and tracking of incidents by SAPS.

I, the undersigned, do hereby agree that this membership is voluntary, and I agree that the NHW or any of its members cannot be held liable for any form of loss, damage to property or personal injury, either as a body or individually. I also agree to adhere to the contents of the NHW Constitution.
